Better Half Productions ("BHP," "we," "us") is a wedding videography studio based in Lewiston, Maine, operating as a DBA of Unified Planet Productions LLC. This policy explains what we collect when you visit our website or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep this short and plain on purpose.
Information you give us. When you submit an inquiry or booking form, we collect your name, email address, phone number, wedding date, venue or town, the package you are interested in, and anything you write in a message.
Information collected automatically. When you browse the site, we and our analytics and advertising partners collect standard usage data through cookies and similar technologies, such as your device type, browser, pages viewed, and general location. We use Google Analytics and the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for this.
If you opt in on a form, you may receive text messages from us about your wedding video inquiry and booking. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
We use cookies and pixels from Google Analytics and Meta to understand site traffic and to measure our ads. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out add-on and manage Meta ad preferences in your Facebook settings.
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the business, such as our customer relationship platform (GoHighLevel), our email and text messaging providers, and our analytics and advertising partners (Google and Meta). We keep your information for as long as we need it to respond to you, provide our services, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. Raw wedding footage is held in cold storage for twelve months after delivery, then deleted.
We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security.
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information by emailing [email protected]. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in any email, and stop texts by replying STOP.
Our site and services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above.
